As you can see be the heading we have moved... The last couple of days have been interesting. Monday we started out for our first day of travel. We said goodbye to our neighbours and motored out towards the Bridge of Lions. For those who have been following our travels, this is the third year we have taken a picture of this bridge and they are still working on it. I think I see progress.

Yesterday we started early for another warm windless day. Things go interesting when we arrived at Ponce de Leon. We discovered the bridge was closed for painting. At least until 5 pm and maybe for three days. We decided to follow another sailboat out the inlet and sail offshore to Port Canaveral. One of our more impulsive decisions... It was much further that we had realised due to the bump in the coastline and the shoals. We ended coming into the inlet about ten pm.

There was nowhere to anchor and the two marinas were dark and closed. We ended up pulling up to a marina gas dock, tying up and falling asleep. We were gone by six today so they never knew we were there. We went through the bridge and the lock before 7 (before sunrise) and dropped anchor on the west side and went back to bed.
We are currently at a marina in Cocoa waiting for my Dad to come for a visit tomorrow. We are hoping to sort out the insurance and work on the lazy bag for the mainsail.
