Paper charts and electronic charts. We use both constantly. I find this Garmin display hard to read outside.
Lake St. Francis finally allowed us an opportunity to sail for a gorgeous 5 hours today. Even though it was upwind tacking we had a great time crossing tacks with a couple of other cruisers, But we aren’t racers…. We did see other people out gawking at the scenery
It was fun to see the grin on Alan’s face. Finally the channel narrowed, the current against us increased and tacking wasn’t fun any more so we turned on the engine about 3 pm. A couple of hours of motoring brought us to a quiet little anchorage just east of Cornwall. It is fun to see all the islands with cottages. Much more to come.
We have proof that our borders are secure. This must be tough duty.
