Rain

Yesterday was the first rain we have had since we arrived and it came in with gusty winds from the south. We discovered a few minor leaks. Work has been progressing. All of the fuel hoses have finally been replaced.

That was definitely a relief when it was completed. Our propane leak seemed to disappear when we filled the tank so maybe it was just a function of not enough pressure in the nearly empty tank for the gauges. We are beginning the process of provisioning. The list is really long when you have to start from completely bare cupboards. It is amazing how many staples we rely on.

Yesterday was a disappointing day for Alan. The dodger we made at Larsen Sails does not fit. He thinks it can be modified. Then, after the rebuilt filter was installed, the engine would not start. The yard manager is going to look at it today but does not think it is serious.

The hope is that we will go in the water today but we will continue with the chores - next up are some shelves in the hanging locker.
