Well, the bank draughts have finally cleared. Yipppeeee!!!
We have learned that it is time to look into a US currency account at the least and perhaps an actual US bank account so that we can avoid this in the future.
We now have a new main and genoa for our boat as well as a stack-pack type cover. Now we can put on the insignia and numbers as my superstitions would not let me do it until we actually owned the boat. It was interesting how many customers, phone calls and orders we received in the last week, during our "slow" time.
Today we will begin making arrangements to transport the boat to Florida. We will need to negotiate around cold weather, snow storms and Christmas holidays. We are hoping to have it moved before Christmas but we will see. The current temperature here is -19'C ( -2'F) brrrr.
